Where the work lives
The set is landscape and portrait together, so each placement is a different way of handling exactly that. Switch from the Work row or with [ and ]; send one on its own by adding ?work=b to the link.
All three
twenty pieces each — four large (two 4′×8′ upright, two 8′×4′ on their side) and sixteen at 24×36 / 36×24. Every option arranges the large ones differently too. Minimum clearance anywhere is 3.6″; nothing touches
A
align the centres. An upright anchoring each end, the two 8′×4′ stacked at the centre, the sixteen in two hang lines between. The eye tracks the centre line rather than the frame edges, so mixed formats sit together without any looking dropped
B
align the bottoms. The four large stand on the floor against the wall, bottoms level at 1′2″ to clear the deck — two upright, two on their side. The sixteen stand on suspended shelves out in the room, same idea smaller. The order changes by sliding, not re-hanging
C
abandon alignment. The large pieces sit at four different heights and two orientations; the sixteen fill the pockets around them. Every position placed rather than computed — which is the point. The only one of the three that takes a late addition without the wall being re-set

Plan is orthographic. That view switches to a parallel
projection, so walls stay parallel and you can scale off it — the 5′ floor
grid is the ruler. Every other view is a normal perspective camera. Drag in
the plan and you drop back into perspective, because you have stopped
measuring and started looking.
Not a survey. Dimensions are scaled off a floor plan
drawing, not measured on site. The column line, storefront and back-of-house
openings are positioned to about a foot. Verify anything load-bearing,
anything you are ordering material against, and the ceiling height before
you build to it.
Projection, measured. The lens sits 29′ off the
wall. A short-throw lens near 0.8:1 gives about a 36′ wide
image — that is what is drawn. At 16:9 that raster stands 20′ tall
against a 14′ ceiling, so the content is letterboxed to the 12′4″
that fits and roughly 40% of the projector’s pixels land on the ceiling
and floor. Covering the whole 65′ wall instead needs 0.48:1 at this
distance, or two units edge-blended, or one much further back.
